HYOGO PREFECTURAL MUSEUM OF ART (078-262-0901)
Designed by the world-renowned architect Tadao Ando, the building of Hyogo Prefectural Museum itself is known as an artwork. Exhibitions include permanent exhibitions mainly by artists who have connections with Hyogo, and special exhibitions of famous artists and of unique concept. Not only fine arts, but also various artistic events of cinema, music, fashion and classic performing arts are held.

"European Still-Life Paintings from the Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien"

The Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien is a world-renowned museum formed from the collections of the Habsburg family. This exhibition presents many features from the exceptional collections for enjoying the world of still-life paintings by the select gathering of 75 works, including still-life paintings and portrait paintings containing still life. Velasquez's “Infanta Margarita Teresa in a Pink Dress” is displayed for the first time in Japan.
