The National Museum of Ethnology "Minpaku" (06-6876-2151)
The National Museum of Ethnology (Minpaku) is a cultural anthropological research center and museum all in one. Its permanent exhibition consists of two categories: regional and cross-cultural. The regional exhibitions cover 9 regions of the world; and cross-cultural exhibitions consist of music and language. Visitors can enjoy viewing various world cultures. Special and temporary exhibitions with particular themes take place regularly.

Thematic Exhibition
"Sparkling Indian Embroidery; The World of Indian Handicraft based on B.B.Bhasin's Collection"

Minpaku purchased Indian embroidery last year from the collection of B.B.Bhasin, who has devoted to the development of textile craft in the Western India. This exhibition presents the world of beauty and technique of colorful embroidery craft of Western India with about 100 selected works.

Minpaku Weekend Salon
Minpaku's researchers will appear somewhere in the exhibition space every week, and wait to welcome questions of any categories and topics. Please check details and timetable via website, as necessary.
