"40th NITTEN(The Japan Fine Arts Exhibition)"

The largest open entry exhibition traveling throughout Japan. Consisting of five categories, Japanese and Western paintings, sculptures, crafts and calligraphies, the Nitten Osaka Exhibition displays the works by great masters and awardees of Nitten as well awarded works by local artists from Osaka, Nara, Wakayama and Hyogo.

Regular Exhibition
"The Glories of East Asian Art"

On display are Japanese ceramic ware and Buddhist arts, craft works of China and Korean Peninsula, and works from one of the best Chinese sculpture collections.

This special exhibition displays approximately 40 works preserved in the Tenmangu shrines in the Kinki region, Jodo sect pictures and modern and contemporary paintings.

The exhibition features works by Hashimoto Kansetsu, a modern-times Japanese-style painter of Kyoto, and traditional Japanese craft works from Casar Collection.
