HYOGO PREFECTURAL MUSEUM OF ART (078-262-0901)
Designed by the world-renowned architect Tadao Ando, the building of Hyogo Prefectural Museum itself is known as an artwork. Exhibitions include permanent exhibitions mainly by artists who have connections with Hyogo, and special exhibitions of famous artists and of unique concept. Not only fine arts, but also various artistic events of cinema, music, fashion and classic performing arts are held.
Special Exhibition
"MASTERPIECES OF KUNSTSAMMLUNG NORDRHEIN-WESTFALEN"

The exhibition displays the collection of modern and contemporary arts of the Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen in Düsseldorf, Germany. It features 64 masterworks of 23 artists, including “Woman at the Mirror” by Picasso and “Camel (in a Rhythmic Landscape of Trees)” by Klee, to explore the trend in the art world in the early 20th century.
