There are many Osaka City and Prefecture-designated cultural properties in Osaka. Most of them are associated with religious beliefs. This may be because religious beliefs were much more important to people and to society in ancient times than they are today. This special exhibition features many works depicting ancient times and focuses on the religious beliefs that influenced people's lives.
